What are you up to now?
Straight after I graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, I moved to London for three years to pursue further education. During my time in London, I studied Management, Marketing, and Design & Branding, which turned out to be an incredibly enriching and enjoyable experience. After completing my studies, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by starting my own company. My startup, named “ConnectCollabnow.com,” launched in September ’24. ConnectCollabnow.com is a platform designed specifically for Generation Z, our generation, to showcase current projects and collaborate on exciting new ventures. The platform offers a unique space for young innovators to connect, share their work, and engage with others who are passionate about similar fields. Interest in ConnectCollabnow.com has been growing rapidly, with many people signing up to join the platform. I encourage you to check it out and see for yourself the potential it holds for fostering collaboration and creativity among young professionals :)
What was your favorite subject at ISHR?
I enjoyed all the subjects, but my favorites were Psychology HL and Art HL. I particularly loved working with my Art teacher and fellow students.
In what ways do you feel ISHR prepared you for what came next?
My school provided a strong academic foundation, equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed for higher education. It also fostered critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, essential for navigating complex challenges. Additionally, the supportive environment and extracurricular opportunities helped me develop confidence and interpersonal skills.
What was the biggest challenge you faced in adapting to life after ISHR?
The biggest challenge adapting to life after ISHR was adjusting to the independence and self-discipline required outside the structured school environment. At ISHR, the close-knit community and supportive teachers provided constant guidance, but post-school life demanded more self-motivation and personal responsibility. Navigating this new level of autonomy was initially daunting, but it ultimately helped me grow and become more resilient.
What advice would you give to current students or your former self?
Do not stress! It’s all part of a beautiful journey ⭐️.
What’s your favorite memory from your time at ISHR?
My favorite memory from school was the sense of community! The camaraderie among students and the supportive atmosphere created a welcoming environment where everyone felt valued. This sense of belonging and connection made my school experience truly memorable.
