PYP Coordinator/Assistant Head of Primary
Fixed-term appointment covering maternity and parental leave, from 01.10.2026 – 31.07.2028. Internal and external applications are welcome.

- Qualification requirements: as set out in the attached job description.
- Grouping: ISHR teachers’ salary scale effective 1 August 2026, Schedule II (Degree and Teaching Certificate), or Schedule I (Degree or Teaching Certificate) where the candidate does not hold both. Initial step placement is determined by previous years of full-time teaching experience and does not exceed step 15 (Schedule II, step 15: EUR 55,404 gross per annum, full-time). Part-time teaching or other educationally relevant work may be given partial credit at the school’s discretion in co-operation with the Betriebsrat.
- Responsibility allowance: the post carries the responsibility allowance for IB Curriculum Coordinator / Assistant Head, EUR 12,000 per annum, together with 50 per cent release from timetabled teaching, as set out in the schedule of stipends effective 1 August 2026.
- Part-time suitability: the post is in principle suitable for part-time working. Applications proposing a part-time or job-share arrangement will be considered.
- Date of commencement: 01.10.2026.

Our Relocation Service
We will support you with relocating to Hannover, including flights, accommodation, and work visa if needed. After your arrival we will accompany you to the German authorities for all necessary documents including your work and residence permit and official registration in Hannover. Furthermore, we will organize health insurance for you and your family.
