Max Dorn’s Inspiring Contribution to a School in Albania

We are incredibly proud to share the achievements of Max Dorn, one of our talented 11th graders, who recently returned from Tirana, Albania, after visiting the Sami Frashëri Gymnasium. During his visit, Max made a significant impact by bringing 23 laptops to the school, each equipped with his innovative ScholarOS Operating System, a tool he developed to enhance education through technology.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our generous school board for their support, including contributing a few of these laptops to the initiative. In recognition of Max’s contribution, the director of Sami Frashëri Gymnasium presented him with a certificate of thanks for his efforts.

Last year, Max earned 1st Prize at the ‘Jugend forscht’ regional competition, along with the prestigious Prize of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety, and the Prize of MTU Maintenance and Wirtschaftsförderung Hannover.

ScholarOS, the operating system Max developed, is an innovative, fast, user-friendly, and secure system designed specifically for educational environments. It enables older computers to run newer programs, offering schools an affordable solution to avoid costly tech upgrades and extend the life of their devices.

Max’s continued dedication to technology and education is an inspiration, and we are excited to see where his work takes him next!
