About Katerine

Welcome to ISHR’s culinary experience brought to you by Katerine! With a passion for fresh, delicious food and a dedication to nurturing young minds, we proudly present “Das Leckere im Topf, für das Clevere im Kopf” (Good Food, Smart Brain) as our guiding motto.

For 25 years, Katerine has been crafting nutritious meals exclusively for boarding and private schools. We understand that a balanced diet is essential for optimal learning, and that’s why we’re committed to providing fresh, locally sourced ingredients to fuel young minds.

Our daily menu offers up to three freshly cooked main courses, accompanied by a variety of salads from the buffet, a comforting soup of the day, and a delightful dessert. We believe in offering choices that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs.

Beyond nourishing our students, we’re passionate about education in the kitchen. Through culinary projects and initiatives, we aim to instill the importance of healthy eating habits and sustainable food practices. Our commitment to animal welfare and environmental sustainability aligns seamlessly with the values of our school community.

In our inviting canteen, students can recharge and indulge in culinary delights, with the option to choose from up to three freshly cooked main courses every day. Each menu is accompanied by a wide selection of salads from the buffet, a comforting soup of the day, and a delightful dessert.

Student Lockers

(Secondary School, Grades 6–12)

Student Lockers

For students in Secondary School (Grades 6–12), ISHR offers personal rental lockers on campus. The delivery, administration, and maintenance of all lockers are managed directly by our external partner, astradirect.

Locker Locations & Features

B-Wing Lockers: Lockers in the B-Wing feature integrated USB-C ports, allowing students to safely charge their electronic devices during the school day.
PE Area Lockers: Located near the sports facilities, ideal for storing sports equipment and gear.

Rental Details & Fees

Cost: €3.40 per month per locker, payable directly to astradirect.
Multiple Lockers: Students may rent a locker in the B-Wing, the PE Area, or both. Please note that a separate contract is required for each locker.

How to Rent a Locker

Locker registration and management are completed online directly through astradirect at astradirect.de.

Step-by-Step Registration Guide:

Website Language: The astradirect website is in German, but can easily be translated into English or other languages using standard browser translation tools (such as Google Chrome).
Find Our School: On astradirect.de, select the city (Hannover) and enter our school name: Internationale Schule Hannover Region GmbH.
Choose Location: Under “Choose your own location”, select your preferred locker area (B-Wing or PE halls).
Rental Period: Select the relevant school year.
Account Selection: In the section “Are you already a customer?”, choose “Continue without registration” (unless you already have an existing account).
Grade Level: Enter your child’s grade level for the upcoming school year.
Additional Lockers: If you wish to rent more than one locker (e.g., one in the B-Wing and one in the PE Area), please repeat this process for each locker.
